state park.
Directions: From Safford, take US 191 south 6 miles to Roper
Lake Road and the park entrance. 
Drive Time: 3 hours from Mesa.
Elevation: 3,130 ft.
Season: Year-round.
Camping: Tents and small trailers, (32 sites).
Niceties: Ranger station, phone, ramada, showers, restrooms,
grills, RV dump, boat ramp, natural hot tub, hiking trails.
Lake: 30 acres; fish are stocked.
Boats: Electric motors only.
Fee: Call for fees.
