Neil Sedaka
The New York singer-songwriter achieved the unusual feat of scoring a top 10 hit twice with different versions of the same song: In 1962, he struck with a teeny-bop version of his composition "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do;" 16 years later he slowed down the tune and a hit ballad emerged. In addition to his own hits ("Calendar Girl," "Laughter in the Rain"), Sedaka has written favorites for Connie Francis, the 5th Dimension and the Captain and Tennille, among others.

Opening of "Beyond Geronimo: The Apache Experience"
"Beyond Geronimo" examines the celebrity attached to Geronimo, and the resulting misrepresentations of Apache culture and heritage that followed the intense media attention focused on one man and his battle with the U.S. government. The exhibit provides insight into the historic groups of Apaches and the leaders who were overshadowed by Geronimo's persona, before and after his surrender. Works by contemporary Apache artists show how they respond to and interpret their shared history and the changing faces of Geronimo. The exhibit is on diaplay until Jan. 20, 2013.
