Overview: The Superstition Wilderness is a hiker's paradise, and the Boulder Canyon Trail is just one of many highlights. For an invigorating two-hour jaunt, go to the first vista--steep on the way up, very scenic. If venturing farther, know your limits. This is wilderness. Take plenty of water and remain on the trail.
Route: Take the Apache Trail (SR 88) 15 miles to Canyon Lake. Trailhead parking is just after the second bridge (in the marina parking lot).
Trailhead: West side of SR 88. 
Trail: TR 103.
Rating: Most Difficult.
Length: 7.3 miles, ends at the Dutchman Trail (TR 104).
Junction with TR 236--3.7 miles
Junction with TR 239--5.1 miles.
The first vista roughly 45 minutes.
Season: Year-round, very hot in summer, take ample water.
Permit: No permit required.
