Overview: Trail takes you deep into Fossil Creek Canyon (very scenic) to an historic diversion dam on Fossil Creek, in the Fossil Springs Wilderness. 
Directions: 5 miles west of Strawberry on Fossil Creek Road, look for TH sign.
Length: 6.8 miles.
Rating: Moderate.
Hike Time: A lot to explore, 3 hours or more.
Season: All year, can get hot in summer.
Camping:Houston Mesa Campground.
Niceties: All you'll need in Payson, Pine and Strawberry.
