Directions: State Route 77 west of Oracle to FR 38 (the Mt. Lemmon Control Road). Parking lot is at the Arizona Trailhead. 
Route: Take FR 38 4.2 miles to FR 4429, across from Peppersauce camp ground. Go right (east) on FR 4429 to Junction with FR 29, stay left and begin Hell Climb. Go right on FR 29C until you go right on FR 4472. Remain on FR 4472 until you reach junction of AZ/Oracle Ridge Trail, go right through gate. Remain left on AZ/Oracle Ridge until you reach the junction with Cody/AZ Trail. Go right on Cody/AZ Trail until you reach FR 38 and parking lot.
Length: Full loop 14.6 miles
Rating: FR 38 Easiest, remaining loop More to Most Difficult
Season: Seasonally sensitive, always check conditions.
