Route: The Jeep trail is roughly a 1 hour ride; however if you include Sub Rock and Devil's Staircase you'll have more fun and a longer ride. If you do the single-track trail, roundtrip is roughly a 2.5 hour ride. Sub Rock is great slick rock ridding and should not be missed. Do the Devil's Staircase on the return from Chicken Point (great views).
Fee: Parking pass required ($5): Available at pay station, ranger office, or Circle K store in Village of Oak Creek.
Length: 10 mile loop
Rating: Single track, More to Most Difficult on upper portions, Expert on some portions. Jeep trail is Moderate, with Devil's Staircase loop, More Difficult.
Season: Year-round, best Sept. to May.
Niceties: Everything you'll need or want in Village of Oak Creek & Sedona.
