Overview: Fantastic scenery, fast descent, TR 307 is great single track with fun turns, a very popular trail.
Directions: Take I-17 north to SR 69 and Prescott, then Gurley St. to Mt. Vernon St. (Senator Hwy.). Groom Creek is 6.5 miles in, TR 307 is a mile farther on your left (if road turns to dirt, turn back). Park at TR 307 and ride loop. 
Option: Take Spruce Mt. Rd. to lookout, park and ride the TR 307 loop returning to the tower.
Ride: Nine miles of fantastic views, pack a camera in your Camelback. Great single track, steep up, fast descent. Don’t miss turns, and watch for hikers and horses. This trail is very popular and best done during the week; packed on summer weekends.
Rating: Advanced.
Elevation: 6,300 to 7,600 feet.
Time Allowed: A full day.
Season: Best spring through fall. Check winter conditions.
