Route: Ride up Elden Lookout Rd. (1 hr). Steep side-trail leads to Sunset Tr. Take Sunset to Upper Brookbank, then bear right onto Little Gnarly. Exhilarating descent on Schultz Creek Tr.
Length:) 14 miles.
Ride Time: 2 to 4 hours.
Option: Drive to lookout, ride half-loop (wimps only).
Rating: Difficult to Extreme.
Route: Step over gate, take Starr Pass Trail left, following power lines, trail becomes a dirt road. Find gate 5, then ride to Yetman Trail. Left goes up to Gates Pass. Right takes you through narley wash then fun single track back to Starr Pass TR.
Trail: Single-track.
Season: Spring through fall.
