Once in the air you settle into your harness,
holding a brake handle in each hand. You pull the right handle to turn right,
to turn left you pull the left handle. You steer your way through the sky, looking for
wind currents or simply float to the bottom of the hill. You spot the landing area and slowly pull
both brake handles, slowing the glider's forward motion and softly come down for a tiptoe landing.
If you are mentally and physically fit, between the ages of 18 and 70, you can fly a paraglider.

Powered Paragliding
Arizonasky Powered Paragliding
Soaring to 13,000 feet in local thermals is very common among experienced Tucson pilots.
Powered paragliding (PPG) has been around from the early 90's,
although it is still a pretty rare site. Perhaps you have seen them flying around, or maybe you have seen them on TV or the internet.
